ToS Fiefdoms

Well, here I am with less than 12 hours before my flight to Vegas. My list is done and models packed. I hope for a good showing at the event.

I will be bringing my Fiefdoms army from before, with a few additional models. The new list is:

Prince Imrahil mounted with lance and shield
7 Mounted Knights of Dol Amroth with lance and shield
14 Knights of Dol Amroth on foot with shield
8 Men-at-arms of Dol Amroth with pike
12 Rangers of Gondor with bow and spear
Angbor the Fearless
3 Clandmen of Lamedon
3 Axemen of Lossarnach

Total cost: 700
Hero count: 2
Model count: 49

Here are some final pics of the completed army in its display board.

I am interested in your thoughts on my force and models. Thanks.

Clansmen of Lamedon

Well, I am almost done with the work on my Clansmen I added to my Fiefdoms army for ToS. I have some additional highlighting to go and to finish the basing, but overall I think they came out well. Not awesome by any stretch, but definitely tabletop worthy.

Tell me what you think.

Was it a Hiatus?

So its been over a year. No posts, no comments, no anything. One might say this blog was dead, but even during that time I saw a couple of responses and several visits. I apologize. Life simply got in the way, I picked up a new addiction(World of Warcraft) and saw my other hobby time wane as a result.

Fast forward to 2011, and we find that I entered GitD and won an invite to the GW ToS in Vegas, Picked up several thousands of points of Grey Knights for 40k, and yes, still am playing WoW.

ToS, for those unaware of the final tournament for GW this year to crown the best of the best. I am looking forward to attending, not because I think I have any chance to win, but more that I get to play the players I rarely meet up with due to locations and schedules. I plan to do some regular updates as we get closer to the event outlining my force, my views on the tournament packet, and eventually how my games go during the grand weekend. Stay tuned for those updates.

Also, following ToS I am going to start work on my Grey Knights force. The Grey Knights have always been one of my favorite armies, but I never had the models to really do anything with them. With the recent rules update and new kits available, I look forward to a fun time developing my army and integrating the older models I have obtained with some of the new kits for some truly nice looking units.

If you have any comments of encouragement, thoughts on life in general or simply want to say it's nice to see me back on the Internet, drop me a comment!
